1. Scope

This policy explains how Music Tool handles information when you use the native iPhone app. It applies to the app's harmony study, composition, learning, purchasing and export features.

Music Tool requires no separate account and includes no advertising.

2. Locally stored information

Music Tool stores appearance preferences, your selected key and scale, musical settings, progressions and projects on your device. This information lets you return to your work and personalize the experience.

You can delete projects in the app. When you uninstall Music Tool, iOS deletes its local data, except for information Apple keeps separately in connection with your purchases.

3. Purchases and Pro access

Apple processes purchases and subscriptions. Music Tool does not receive card numbers or your Apple Account credentials.

Music Tool uses RevenueCat to validate purchases, subscriptions and Pro access. To provide that service, RevenueCat may process an anonymous installation or user identifier, purchase history and status, Apple receipts and necessary technical information about the app and device. Music Tool does not use this information for advertising.

4. Exports

MIDI files, WAV files and chord guides are created temporarily on your device. They leave Music Tool only when you choose to share them through native iOS options.

Your chosen sharing destination may apply its own privacy practices.

5. Permissions and tracking

Music Tool does not request microphone, camera, photo, contact or location access for its current features.

The app includes no advertising and does not perform advertising tracking across apps or websites. This policy will be updated if features or permissions change.

6. Security and providers

We apply reasonable measures to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Apple and RevenueCat may process information in countries other than yours under their own policies, agreements and legal obligations.

7. Children's privacy

Music Tool is not designed to request personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child's information has been handled inappropriately so we can review the situation.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to Music Tool, its providers or applicable requirements. We will publish the updated version at this URL with the new date.
