Scope
This notice describes Guitar Mastery Pro and its product website, based on the implementation reviewed on September 7, 2026. App functionality, the website, support queries and third-party purchasing or synchronization services are described separately.
Microphone and audio
The app uses microphone access for pitch detection and chord recognition. Audio buffers are analyzed on the device. The reviewed implementation does not save microphone recordings or transmit them to a server. Microphone permission can be revoked in device Settings; listening features will then be unavailable.
Local progress and preferences
The app stores learning results, practice history, progress and preferences on the device. A local snapshot also supports its widget. These are separate from microphone recordings. Deleting the app may remove local data; first consider whether you need to preserve your progress.
Optional iCloud synchronization
Synchronization is off by default. If enabled, Apple iCloud synchronizes progress, skills, achievements, sessions and preferences across your devices. Apple processes this information through its services. Disabling synchronization stops the app’s sync feature; it does not automatically erase previously stored cloud data.
Reminders
Practice reminders are optional local notifications. The app stores the selected time and message language, and schedules notifications on the device. You can disable them in the app or through iOS notification settings.
Purchases and RevenueCat
Apple processes in-app purchases and provides transaction and entitlement information. The code integrates RevenueCat, which activates only with a valid configuration. Production setup is pending in the reviewed release. When enabled, RevenueCat processes purchase records, a generated app user identifier and associated service/device information to manage access. The production configuration and App Store privacy disclosure must be rechecked before release.
Website and hosting
The visual tuner demo does not access the microphone or upload audio. These pages add no marketing analytics or email collection. Vercel hosts the website and may process technical request information such as IP address, requested URL, browser information and timestamps to deliver and secure it. Other sections of the domain can have different functionality.
Support queries
If you contact support, the message, email address and any diagnostic information you choose to provide are used to investigate and reply. Do not send sensitive credentials or recordings. Hosting and email services process information under their own terms. No fixed retention period is asserted here without a confirmed operational policy.
Your choices and updates
You can revoke microphone permission, disable reminders and optional iCloud sync, and manage Apple purchases through your device. Contact the responsible party with privacy questions or requests about support correspondence. This notice will be updated when the implementation or services change.
Contact support
Support contact is awaiting confirmation.
Include your device model, iOS version, app version, steps to reproduce and any error message. Do not send passwords, payment details or microphone recordings.
